Guess the movies from the taglines: T

Blogging from A to Z Challenge
(Click here for my theme reveal.)

Tagline... you're it!

I'll give the taglines, you guess the movie titles.

Hint #1: today's movies start with the letter...

(Spoiler alert: these are linked to the IMDb list of taglines for the movie.)

Theater 1
You can't handle the tooth.

Theater 2
On the air. Unaware.

Theater 3
When he said I do, he never said what he did.

Theater 4
The thing that won't die, in the nightmare that won't end.

Another hint coming up...

Hint #2: The taglines belong to these movies...

A. The Terminator (1984)
B. Tooth Fairy (2010)
C. True Lies (1994)
D. The Truman Show (1998)

(Not all movies referenced during this challenge are quality films, but I appreciate their witty taglines.)

Answers coming up...

Answers:
Theater 1: B
Theater 2: D
Theater 3: C
Theater 4: A

How did you do? Have you seen any of the movies? Which one is your favorite? Which tagline is your favorite?

I've only seen the last quarter of Tooth Fairy, but I've seen all of the others.

My favorite of the taglines: When he said I do, he never said what he did.

My favorite of the movies: The Truman Show (Such an interesting concept!)

  1. "True Lies" was good and Jamie Lee Curtis was gorgeous in it. My favorite exchange between her and Schwarzenegger:

    "Have you ever killed anyone?"
"Yes, but they were all bad."

  2. I didn't know that was the tagline for The Terminator. I'm not sure I like the tagline. I don't think it does the movie justice. Weekends In Maine

    1. I was a bit surprised by that tagline, too. Sounds more fitting for a horror/slasher movie.

  3. I've seen all of these except for Tooth Fairy. Those three are some of my favorite films. I can't pick a favorite tagline, they're all three great!

    1. The letter T gave some good choices for films and taglines.

  4. Trudy,

We've seen all but 'The Truman Show'. "True Lies" is one of our all-time favorites! Of course, we're Arnold Schwarzenegger fans. :)

    1. I didn't see True Lies until several years after it came out, and initially only saw bits and pieces when surfing television channels. Then finally, I had a chance to watch--and enjoy--the entire movie. What a fun, entertaining, action flick!
