If you only do what you can do, you'll never be better than what you are.
Oh boy. I have to think about this question and just type. The first thing that comes to mind is motorcycle riding. I rode on the back seat for a couple of years and watched as other woman started riding their own motorcycles. I made the mistake of saying out loud, "hey, I'd like to try riding my own." Once I got endorsed, I never got back on the bike with him. It's a good thing to have independence. :-) The other thing is photography. My step daughter recently pointed out that you the only way to get better is to keep practicing, which I do. I am not sure I want to be a professional photographer as I think it would take the fun out of it for me but I am sure learning a lot on my way to being better at it. I look forward to trying out retirement. I think I can get really good at it!
Riding your own motorcycle, expanding photography skills...those are great examples, thank for sharing! Your comment about getting good at retirement made me laugh. Love it!
